Hello!
With the rebel saboteurs complete and due for general release on Saturday 2nd July, I’ve begun color testing for the next miniature in the Imperial Assault series – Lando Calrissian.
Although I generally like to keep roughly to the release order of the Imperial Assault miniatures, I do occasionally like to cover one of the “hot” new releases and I simply couldn’t resist painting Lando next. He has been beautifully sculpted by Gary Storkamp and has a wonderful outfit with his luxurious mid-tone purple robe with elaborate golden inlay.
After Lando I will be returning to one of the earlier expansion figures – the Royal Guard Champion, although a little Zombicide or Descent might find its way into my schedule in-between…

Lando has one of the best sculpts yet. The cloak, the ‘tash, the pose. All good. Glad I can get the chance to follow your tutorial as I paint him. Love it.
