Coming Soon for November

Hello!

It’s the beginning of another month which means I’d like to share with you what I’ll be working on over the coming weeks..

Coming first this month will be the next hero for Descent – Grisban the Thirsty, and it sure is nice to see some warmer colours in my growing party of adventurers!

For Imperial Assault I will be completing the Twin Shadows miniatures by covering Saska Teft as well as Kayn Somos and the heavy stormtroopers.

Finally, for Zombicide: Black Plague I will be continuing on to the next hero on my list – Silas the Elf.

Towards the end of the month I will also be covering Loku Kanoloa from Imperial Assault as well as Widow Tarha from Descent with a public release for each planned for early December.

Looking even further ahead, more Blood Rage and at least one video for The Others will also be coming your way…

Happy Painting!

Great news! I think I’ll start Imperial Assault once I finish Black Plague. Is Return to Hoth and other mid/big box expansions for IA on your long term radar?

Hi! It’s my mission to paint ALL of the Imperial Assault minis (I’ve already covered Leia from the Hoth expansion by the way 🙂 )

Cool! I was planning on buying all big boxes and small packs that you painted, but now I know, that’s not possible unless I want to empty my wallet and buy everything there is 😀

Thanks Sorastro your work is amazing, and give great inspiration to many players/painters. Do you know what will be your next miniature in blood rage? Will you paint another large figure or start with a clan?

    • Sorastro says:

Thank you Bigboar! I’m honestly not sure yet; I am going to cover all of the minis in the core set however so I will get to them all eventually 🙂

From a painter point of view how would you sort the miniatures of these games (descent, imperial assault, black plague and blood rage) which are the most detailed and rewarding to paint? Thanks!

    • Sorastro says:

Hmm interesting question! Regarding detail they’re all very good for the “board game component” category – with Blood Rage perhaps taking a slight edge? I find them all rewarding to paint to be honest as I love the themes. I guess I still enjoyed painting some specific minis more than others like Boba Fett, the Frost Giant, the Black Plague zombies etc 🙂

Hey, love your videos! Hope to see a series of the others

Looking forward to watching all of these videos. Is Dengar coming in a future episode?

    • Sorastro says:

Hi Gary! Yes I’ll be painting Dengar, I just not sure when as the order is decided by patron vote 🙂

      • Gary says:

Ok. I understand that. Was just wondering if he will be done at some point. Thanks for all your hard work doing these.

I have watched all your painting series and especially the Descent episodes (many times) but only just acquired a copy of the game – had no idea how tiny Grisban mini actually is!! You are a master Sorastro!

    • Sorastro says:

Hi Henry! Ha ha yes, the Descent minis are pretty tiny 😁
