Coming Soon for March

Hello Dear Viewers!

It’s time for a look at the miniatures I’ll be covering in the month of March…

Firstly I’ll be releasing the guide for the sixth base-set hero from Descent: Journeys in the Dark –  Jain Fairwood, which I’ll be following with the next hero from Zombicide: Black Plague – Clovis (who I failed to cover last month).  This means I’m just three videos away from completing the Black Plague core box!

Following that I will be producing two videos for the new Runewars Miniatures Game by Fantasy Flight Games – one for the Carrion Lancer and one for the Rune Golem (both pictured above).  These are epic miniatures and full of character, so I’m certainly looking forward to working on them and hopefully coming up with some interesting colour schemes!

As if that wasn’t enough fun, I’ll also be painting the next most-requested miniature from Imperial Assault as voted for by my patrons: Jabba The Hutt.

Thank you as always for watching and supporting my work!

Yours,

Sorastro.

The Runewars videos will be awesome to watch! I am not getting the game but it could help me with the other games that I will be painting. Looking forward to Jabba’s video because I had no idea how to paint him. Love the Rancor video and look forward to painting him in the future. Just don’t know when I will get to it. I have some partially completed ones that I want to finish first before I do any new ones.

Hey. The minis look very interesting and lend themselves to some vivid colour schemes. Where do you think the models fit in the quality scale when compared to Blood Rage, Black Plague, Descent, The Others, Imperial Assault or Games Workshop?

I’ve been trying to scroll through your numerous posts because I’m sure you’ve covered this before; but can you list the type and maker of brush you use? I have been trying to use some available commonly to me in my area; but they’re just not of good quality and are forever “splitting”. Thank you for your wonderful videos too!

Hi Graig! Thanks for the message! I usually mention which brushes I’m using in the videos descriptions, but I mostly use either a Rosemary & Co Series 33 Size 2, or a Windsor & Newton Series 7 Size 1 or 2 🙂

I am really looking forward for the runewars miniatures. I always hoped for a battlelore second Edition video. But it seems that ffg ended this awesome game. I am hoping for painting tutorials for the smaller figures like speed painting like the zombicide skeleton archers. Thanks anyways for Thema great videos. Got me into the relaxing hobby 😀

Thanks a lot Flodo! There’s a good chance that I’ll also cover the smaller figures for Runewars too – and I think I agree, a bit of speed painting might be a good idea 🙂
