Today I’d like to share a PDF painting guide for Renerien from the Shadowed Paths expansion to The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth!
I’ve lately been pushing myself when it comes to painting faces, and I can’t say enough good things about the Scalecolor Artist paints when it comes to painting skin tones; there’s just something about them that I feel allows me to capture the look and finish that I’m after.

Hey Sorastro, really love the painting guides, and they have really helped out in picking out things and finding my own style. I was wondering if you are going to finish the guides for the rest of the minis that havent been touched yet so far (looking forward to the Mumak for instance)?
Hey Sorastro, I love your guides so far, both the PDF and video guides. They really help in pointing out materials and giving me tips on good colour combinations. I was wondering though, will you finish the rest of the minis from the boardgame? I am looking forward to more tips from your side 🙂
Thank you very much! I’ve almost finished the Spreading War expansion (I covered the Oliphant on Patreon but haven’t got round to publishing to the website yet), and I’ll soon be covering the last hero from the expansion.. 😀
