Hi Dear Viewers!
I have another PDF painting guide for you – this time for Bilbo Baggins from The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth, which you can grab here!
For Bilbo I really wanted to take the opportunity to introduce some red, so as you can see I went with quite a cold, dark red for the waistcoat, complimented by the paler green tone of the cloak.
I also toyed with the idea of doing a full-on glowing sword but in the end decided for just a subtle shift in colour temperature instead.
Anyway I do hope you enjoy the guide. In September I’m planning to cover the last two core-set heroes (Gimli and Beravor) as a video and PDF guide respectively. I’ve then got the Villains of Eriador to get cracking on with!
Happy painting!
Sorastro.
I want to make the collection of this game, your tutorial are amazing!. Now I’m with Descent, are you going to make more videos of this game? Thank you for your videos.
My Descent miniatures look spectacular thanks to your tutorials.
Thanks a lot Carlos! I may yet have some more Descent in me.. 😃
It sounds wonderful 😀 hahahaha
Hey Sorastro – any update re: the final (for now!) .pdf guide? 🙂
Hi Jim! Yes – in fact I’ll be releasing it a bit later today 😀
Hi Sorastro,
I’m struggling to paint the Bilbo’s Sting sword. I would to like to do the flourescent sword but I’m losing the battle 🙁
Do you have some tips to help me please?
Thank you!
Kelly
