I recently painted up Red Guardian from Marvel: Crisis Protocol, and have a PDF Painting Guide to share!

For no particular reason other than I enjoy trying out different paint ranges, I decided to use the ProAcryl paints by Monument Hobbies for this.

I find red to be one of the more challenging colours to work with, so I relished the opportunity to practice working with the colour on this, and you can probably tell that I had a blast playing with the little specular glints etc!

I quite enjoyed using the ProAcryl paints too; I think they’re a great choice for newer painters especially, as they have agitators included in each bottle, and have a smooth, flowing consistency out of the bottle.

Having said that, I did kind of miss the density of the Scalecolor paints which I’ve grown very fond of over the last couple of years.
