Today I have a PDF Painting Guide for the “Today the Rebellion Dies” Squad Pack for Star Wars: Shatterpoint!
My goal with this squad was to get them painted up reasonably quickly, so I took one or two shortcuts (notably by using the airbrush to provide the base colours and highlight tones for the matte fabric parts of the outfits). I was also pretty sketchy with my highlights on the shinier parts:
Naturally I spent a bit longer on the named characters such as Iden Versio:
And here they are on the table!

Hi, thanks so much for this. When you put the scalecolor matt range through the airbrush (in this case black and dark greys) how much/what thinner or flow improver do you use? I haven’t tried it before 🙂
Hi Brent – thanks a lot! Ah yes, I should have said; I didn’t record precise ratios or anything, but I used quite a lot of the Vallejo Airbrush Thinner, along with a few drops of the Vallejo Flow Improver. (I might have added a little water, too – you just need to get it thinned right down) 😀
