Death Troopers PDF Guide

Hi Dear Viewers!

Today I’d like to share with you another PDF painting guide – this time for the awesome Death Troopers from StarWars™ Legion™ which you can DOWNLOAD HERE.

I actually painted half of the squad live at the recent Star Wars Celebration,  and the remaining figures whilst preparing this guide.  My aim was to get them painted pretty quickly (less than an hour per figure) but still achieve a striking look.  Things are therefor a little sketchy, but I think they still look pretty eye catching on the table!

Death Troopers FINAL SHOOT

I must say I really love the poses on these figures; I feel that the sculptors nicely captured the look of a tactical squad in action!

There will be plenty more Legion painting from me in the coming months…

Happy painting!

Sorastro.

PS I’d like to thank my kind patrons on Patreon for funding these guides, and I’d also like to share an affiliate link to the Rosemary & Co Series 8 and Series 33 brushes that I love to use (sizes 1 or 2 – “Short handle”), and here’s an affiliate link to Element Games where I buy most of my other hobby supplies.  Thank you!

Hello, great guides and painting. One question – is the Green Fluo (VMC) used definitely the Model Colour as it looks quite bright like the game colour (VGC)?

    • Sorastro says:

Thanks Dave! Yes, the Green Fluo is from the Vallejo Model Color line, and it’s supposed to be bright and vibrant. 😃

Stunning as always….quick question…did you use gloss varnish? Satin? Matte?

    • Sorastro says:

Thanks a lot Justin! I used matte varnish (Testors Dullcote) 🙂

The schminke titanium white, is that water color, oil, acryllic? Having trouble trying to identify the product.

Hey Jim! It’s just an artist’s acrylic. You could use any white you like really – I just like the creamy consistency and coverage of the Schminke. 😀
