Today I’d like to share a PDF Painting Guide for Balin from The Shadowed Paths expansion to The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth:

Once again you can see I’ve enjoyed trying to capture the different textures on the figure, and as with Gandalf I chose to use the Scalecolor paints for the soft fabric of the cloak as they’re just so perfect for that kind of thing; elsewhere I’ve stuck to the usual Vallejo and Citadel colours:
