Today I’d like to share a PDF Painting Guide for the Siege Towers from the “Spreading War” expansion to The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth by Fantasy Flight Games:

I wasn’t initially sure how much I was going to enjoy painting these to be honest, but I really did once I got stuck in!

The main thing I wanted to achieve was a nice grimy look with just enough subtle variation of tone.

They ended up being pretty quick and fun to paint – and it’s nice to take a break from the more meticulous paint jobs once in a while!
