Today I’d like to share a PDF painting guide for Hans the Butcher from the solo board game – Final Girl!

Because the Final Girl miniatures are so small, I decided to take a fairly quick and easy approach with the use of thin layers of paint, over some “off-zenithal” highlights to create a bit of dramatic light and shade.

The main downside to this style of painting is that we tend to lose saturation and tonal variety, but we can still achieve a look that’s fine for the table top!

I’ve also prepared a little video “Short” so you can see some of the painting process in action:
