Hello!
Today I have a PDF Painting Guide for Moon Knight from Atomic Mass Games’ Marvel: Crisis Protocol to share with you:
I took a pretty fast and loose approach with Moon Knight, and the guide is somewhat rough as a result! You should also feel free to use whatever paint range you like (I just happened to find the versatility of the Scalecolor Artists range quite helpful here).
The main thing I wanted to convey in the guide is the basic technique of throwing a thinned base tone over some zenithal highlights, then adding a few highlights on top, because this can be a pretty quick and easy way of painting white – especially if you’re after a bit of a weathered look:
Here you can see the difference between “posh white” and “dirty white”:
I hope some of you find the guide useful! (And coming soon – a video covering Malekith…)
Sorastro.
If you enjoy my work, do please consider supporting what I do on Patreon – thank you!
I’d also like to share an affiliate link to the Rosemary & Co Series 8 brush that I love to use. (I use the Size 2, “Short handle”):
And although they’re more expensive, I’ve also lately been enjoying the lovely Artis Opus brushes:
Great work as ever Mark. I’m tackling white as a colour so these guides are handy. Thanks for the affiliation links. Hope you still find joy in your work at the moment. Love to you and your family.
Thank you so much Mark! That means a lot to me 🤗
