Today I have a PDF Painting Guide for Mystique from Atomic Mass Games’ Marvel: Crisis Protocol to share with you:

You can see that I couldn’t resist capturing her mid-transformation, and there are of course lots of ways you could choose to do this, both in terms of how you divide the miniature, and the colours you choose for the illusionary half.

Red just felt like a natural choice to me since there’s already quite a bit of red in the hair.  I then chose black for the boots and belt to keep the number of different colours down whilst also contrasting against the white of her actual outfit.

In quite an understated kind of way I think this is a really beautiful sculpt, and I enjoyed working on her a lot!
